CZ_COMPONENT_SELECTIONS_V is a Bills of Material (BOM) reporting view that consolidates component selection information for configured items. In Oracle EBS 12.1.1 and 12.2.2, the view serves as a unified read interface over two fundamentally different sources of component selections: sales order lines (SO_LINES_ALL) and bill of material configuration explosion records (BOM_CONFIG_EXPLOSIONS). The CZ_ prefix associates the object with Oracle's Configurator (CZ) schema, which manages model and option structures for configured products.

The view's purpose is to present, in a single flattened result set, the components that have been selected for a configured item regardless of whether the selection originated from an order management context or a manufacturing/BOM context. • SO_LINES_ALL — the order management table holding sales order line details. Rows from this source carry the qualifier 'SO_LINES'. Constants are substituted for columns that do not exist on SO_LINES_ALL: GROUP_ID = -1, PARENT_LINE_ID = -1, SEQUENCE_NUMBER = -1, and ITEM_SVRID = -1.
• BOM_CONFIG_EXPLOSIONS — the table storing exploded component selections for configured bills, including the selection quantity and the organization context. Rows from this source carry the qualifier 'BCE'. Constants are substituted for its missing order columns: LINE_ID = -1, HEADER_ID = -1, PARENT_LINE_ID = -1, and SHIP_TO_SITE_USE_ID = -1.

Neither source is documented in ETRM as a formally referenced base object, but both are named explicitly in the view definition.
