Overview
ICX_PANEL_CREDIT_INFO_V is a reporting view within the Oracle iProcurement (ICX) module of Oracle E-Business Suite, documented across releases 12.1.1 and 12.2.2. Its functional description is "Customer Site Credit Profile View." The view consolidates credit-related attributes for a customer site so that iProcurement and related modules can evaluate the creditworthiness and risk profile of a given customer location during order and requisition processing. It surfaces credit checking flags, hold status, tolerance thresholds, risk ratings, and collections parameters alongside basic customer and site identification data.
The name of the view reflects its intended use: it feeds the credit information panel presented in iProcurement and comparable self-service flows, where purchasing or order-entry users require visibility into a customer site's standing. Because it is a view rather than a table, it provides a read-only, denormalized projection of data that resides in Oracle Receivables (AR) base tables. In the ETRM 12.2.2 metadata the view is listed as "Not implemented in this database" with no documented owner and no documented referenced base objects, though the view text itself discloses the exact underlying sources.
Underlying Base Objects
The view is defined over two Receivables tables joined on the site use identifier:
- AR_CUSTOMER_PROFILES (alias ARF) — the customer profile table, supplying credit checking behavior, tolerance, discount terms, dunning, interest charges, credit hold, risk code, credit rating, percent collectable, collector, and status.
- RA_SITE_USES (alias RAS) — the customer site use table, supplying address, primary flag, status, location, contact, and SIC code.
The join condition is ARF.SITE_USE_ID = RAS.SITE_USE_ID, and the query filters on ARF.STATUS = 'A', restricting output to active customer profiles. The relationship is therefore one customer profile joined to its corresponding site use record, producing a combined row per active site profile.
Key Columns
- CUSTOMER_ID / ADDRESS_ID / PRIMARY_SITE_USE_ID — identifiers linking the profile to a customer, address, and site use.
- PRIMARY_FLAG, STATUS, LOCATION, CONTACT_ID, SIC_CODE — site-level attributes from RA_SITE_USES.
- CUSTOMER_STATUS — the AR customer profile status, filtered to active records.
- CREDIT_CHECKING — the flag indicating whether credit checking is enforced for the site.
- TOLERANCE — the allowable variance above the credit limit before action is taken.
- CREDIT_HOLD, RISK_CODE, CREDIT_RATING, PERCENT_COLLECTABLE — risk and exposure indicators used in credit evaluation.
- COLLECTOR_ID, DISCOUNT_TERMS, DUNNING_LETTERS, INTEREST_CHARGES — collections and payment-term configuration.
Common Use Cases and Queries
The view is typically queried to retrieve a customer site's full credit profile, to verify whether credit checking is enabled, and to drive automated hold decisions. A representative query:
SELECT CUSTOMER_ID, ADDRESS_ID, CREDIT_CHECKING,
CREDIT_HOLD, RISK_CODE, CREDIT_RATING, TOLERANCE
FROM ICX_PANEL_CREDIT_INFO_V
WHERE CUSTOMER_ID = :p_customer_id;
Because it filters only active profiles, it is well suited to real-time credit panels and interfaces that must exclude inactive sites. Where the view is not deployed in a given instance, equivalent reporting can be assembled directly from AR_CUSTOMER_PROFILES and RA_SITE_USES using the same join and status filter.
