Overview

IGS_OR_CONTACTS_V is a reporting and integration view belonging to the Oracle E-Business Suite product family IGS (Student System), which is documented in ETRM as obsolete. The view describes institution contact details, presenting a consolidated, denormalized picture of the relationships between persons, parties, and organizational contacts held in the Oracle Trading Community Architecture (TCA) model. In practice, it acts as a convenience layer that joins person base information, HZ relationship rows, and HZ organizational contact rows so that downstream reports, interfaces, and legacy forms can retrieve contact details through a single object rather than assembling the underlying joins manually.

The join chain links ORG_CONT.PARTY_RELATIONSHIP_ID to REL.RELATIONSHIP_ID, REL.SUBJECT_ID to the person, and REL.OBJECT_ID to REL_PARTY.PARTY_ID, with both subject and object table names constrained to HZ_PARTIES.

Key Columns

Several columns are literal NULLs and carry no data. CONTACT_ID, ORIG_SYSTEM_REFERENCE, TITLE_MEANING, PRIMARY_ROLE, and ORG_ROLE_OVN are all defined as TO_NUMBER(NULL) or NULL.
