APPS.EGO_ITEMS_V is a reporting and integration view in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.1.1 and 12.2.2 that consolidates master-level item attributes with trade item and GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) data. Because the trade item descriptor is resolved via the TradeItemDescVS value set, the view is also useful for valid-value lookups and for auditing items whose descriptor differs from the expected meaning. For publication monitoring, filtering on PUBLICATION_STATUS IS NULL identifies items that have not been successfully published. Where the metadata is silent, note that the view reflects master-organization item attributes; organization-specific overrides are not represented, and the outer joins to cross-references mean an item may appear with null GTIN values.
