Overview

FND_SUBMIT is the Oracle E-Business Suite public PL/SQL package that provides the programmatic APIs for concurrent request set submission and for controlling the attributes under which concurrent requests execute. Output and delivery configuration is resolved through FND_CP_DELIVERY_OPTIONS, FND_CP_DELIVERY_COMMANDS, FND_CP_IPP_PRINTERS, FND_PRINTER, FND_PRINTER_INFORMATION, and FND_PRINTER_STYLES. Usage Notes

FND_SUBMIT is invoked from custom Forms, database triggers, and concurrent programs where request sets must be submitted without user interaction. The conventional pattern is to call the SET_* routines first to establish mode, NLS, organization, repeat, and print context, then SET_REQUEST_SET, followed by SUBMIT_SET; delivery and notification routines are called before submission so that completed output is routed correctly. Because the package is public and marked compatible, it is supported for customer extensions, though it is sensitive to correct ordering — calling a submit routine before the context routines yields unpredictable request attributes.
