Through APPS synonyms, the package reads assignment and action context from PAY_ASSIGNMENT_ACTIONS, PAY_PAYROLL_ACTIONS, and PAY_ACTION_INTERLOCKS; person and assignment data from PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_F, PER_PERIODS_OF_SERVICE, PER_ASSIGNMENT_STATUS_TYPES, and PER_JOBS; organization and hierarchy data from HR_ORGANIZATION_INFORMATION, HR_LOCATION_EXTRA_INFO, PER_GEN_HIERARCHY_VERSIONS, and PER_GEN_HIERARCHY_NODES; and balance information from PAY_BALANCE_TYPES, PAY_BALANCE_DIMENSIONS, and PAY_DEFINED_BALANCES. Results are written to PAY_US_RPT_TOTALS, the U.S. reporting totals table that stores the computed EO Survey figures.

PAY_EOSURVEY_PKG is typically invoked indirectly by an Oracle Payroll concurrent program or report process rather than called from a form or client-side code. The FIND_PERSONS signature—payroll action ID plus thread number—confirms it is designed for submission as a parallel-enabled concurrent request, with each thread processing a subset of the population. No other packages reference it, and it is not published as a callable business API, so customization should be limited to executing it through the standard EO Survey concurrent program.
